One of the internet’s current favorite men, Jeremy Allen White, has opened up about his good luck charm – which ultimately may have helped him win a Golden Globe.
The Shameless actor shared in a recent interview with Vogue ahead of the award show on January 7 he had a good luck charm which is small enough to keep in his pocket. The celebrity was nominated in the Best Actor in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy category for his work on the Hulu show The Bear. He also shared a quirky mannerism of his which comes out while he’s filming on set.
Jeremy Allen White’s good luck charm
As he prepared to celebrate the past year in TV and film, the 32-year-old shared he carried a little trinket in his pocket. The good luck charm for Jeremy Allen White comes in the form of a small yet adorable golden bear.
“This is my little friend down here,” the Hollywood star said, holding the small token. “I’m gonna rub him for good luck and keep him in here.”
He then proceeded to tuck the trinket into his pocket.
We’re guessing the cute good luck charm (and the kiss) worked for Jeremy Allen White, because the actor bagged the award for Best Actor at the Golden Globes.

In his acceptance speech, he sweetly thanked his two daughters Ezer, 5, and Dolores, 3.
“My parents I love you! Thank you for making me feel like this was possible. Louie, Ezer, I love you so so so so much! … I love acting, thank you!”
Jeremy’s ‘tap dancing’
In the series, his role as Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto, is a chef who returns to his hometown in order to look after his family’s quaint sandwich shop and after a tragedy.
Despite the tough scenes, he appears to have a trick for displacing nervous energy, as revealed in the video.
Elsewhere in the interview, he can be seen tapping his feet on the floor as he becomes visibly nervous. “Oh yeah, please get my tap dancing,” he told the camera crew. “It’s a nervous thing I do.”
He then explained he did it frequently on set when filming shows and movies. “I do it between takes on set.”
