The music star iconically announced her new album during her Grammy speech when she won Best Pop Vocal Album. will be released on April 19 and will include six songs and one bonus track, The Manuscript. As the event drew closer, and Taylor Swift changed her profile pic, fans started to guess what was going on. However, they didn’t pick up the hints from months before.
Taylor Swift hinted to new album with ’11 fingers’ picture
In October 2023, Taylor and producer Jack Antonoff celebrated her hit, Cruel Summer reaching Number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, five years after its initial release.
The pair enthusiastically posted pics on social media, with Jack holding up 10 fingers, and Swift holding up one. Yes, you guessed it 11. Hinting towards the singer’s 11th studio album.
The star didn’t give away anything at the time, as she captioned the Instagram pic: “IT’S COOL,” alongside a ‘cool shades’ emoji.
It’s not the only sneaky hint the Lover singer has dropped along the way, in fact, some fans think she hinted to it three years ago.
Recently, the star sent Swifties wild with her TIME Magazine Person of The Year interview, where she finally opened up about her relationship with Travis Kelce, but in all the romance, they may have missed a big clue. The headline read: “The Poet Laureate Of Pop Culture,” and fans are now drawing links with the title ‘hinting’ at her album name.

As if we needed any more reasons to be jealous of the NFL star, he revealed at a the Super Bowl opening night press conference that he’d heard some of The Tortured Poets Department and he says it’s “unbelievable.”
“I have heard some of it, yes,” he said. “It is unbelievable. I can’t wait for her to shake up the world when it finally drops.”
However, he’s keeping his lips sealed and not giving anything away just yet.
